Optical filters for wavelength control

Optical filters are wavelength-selective optical components designed to modify the spectral characteristics of light by transmitting, attenuating, or blocking specific wavelength ranges. Through carefully engineered optical coatings and substrate selection, filters can achieve precise control over passband, cutoff wavelength, transmission efficiency, and blocking performance for different optical systems.

Strahl Optics provides custom filter solutions for imaging, laser, spectroscopy, sensing, and illumination applications. Available solutions include bandpass filters, longpass filters, shortpass filters, and dichroic filters, with options for optical glass filters and other substrate materials. Application-specific thin-film coating technologies are used to achieve the required spectral response.
