Infrared Optics

Optical solutions across the infrared spectrum.

Explore IR optics, infrared materials, and custom solutions for different applications.

Infrared optics for advanced applications

Infrared optics are designed to transmit and manipulate wavelengths beyond the visible spectrum for thermal imaging, spectroscopy, sensing, and laser systems. Unlike conventional visible optics, IR optical components require specialized materials selected according to their transmission range, optical properties, and operating environment.

Strahl Optics supports infrared optics in germanium, silicon, zinc selenide, zinc sulfide, barium fluoride, and sapphire. Our components are processed through precision fabrication and surface finishing to maintain reliable optical quality across different infrared bands.
