Flat Mirrors

Right Angle Mirrors

Compact 90° beam turning for precise optical routing

Introduction

Right angle mirrors are flat optical mirrors designed to redirect incident light by 90° within an optical system. Their defined right-angle geometry provides a fixed reflective orientation, allowing the optical path to be folded through a controlled angle without introducing intentional focusing power.

Compared with a conventional flat mirror mounted separately at 45°, the integrated right-angle form simplifies mechanical installation and provides a compact way to establish a fixed folded optical path. This makes the mirror especially suitable for instruments where space and mounting geometry are tightly constrained.
